Balkan Cargo

About Us

Who We Are

Founded in 2005, Balkan Cargo runs road transport between Greece and the whole Balkans and Eastern Europe — from Serbia and the former Yugoslav countries to Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland and the Baltics. We run guaranteed weekly groupage departures every Friday from five hubs — Athens, Thessaloniki, Belgrade, Ljubljana and Zagreb — plus daily full-truckload departures Greece–Serbia, temperature-controlled transport for food and pharma, and ADR transport for dangerous goods. We are a B2B carrier with offices in Belgrade and Thessaloniki, our own customs brokers in Belgrade, and all-risk Generali cover on every shipment.

Why Balkan Cargo

Both Ends of the Corridor

  1. 01

    Two teams, one operation

Our people in Greece and our people in Serbia have worked together for years — same processes, same contacts, a direct line between them. Your shipment isn't handed to a stranger at the border.

  2. 02

Customs handled by our own people

Our own brokers work out of Belgrade's two main customs terminals — Terminal Beograd and Dobanovci — rather than handing the paperwork to a third party who wasn't there when the truck was loaded.

  3. 03

    Independent, not a franchise

We're not a local branch of a global network. Decisions about your shipment are made by people you can reach directly.

  4. 04

The Balkans from Greece since 2005

We started on the Greece–ex-YU lane; today we run from Greece to the whole Balkans and Eastern Europe. Two decades of it show in the border crossings, the customs offices, and the routes we know by heart.
